What advice can you give TO aspiring writers?

First and foremost, READ.  Read anything and everything. Read what you like, especially within the genre you want to write. Other than that, my advice would be to write. Whether it’s a short story, novella, book, screenplay, or whatever – there’s so much to learn when it comes to the writing process, and no better teacher than just writing.

My most significant piece of writing advice is to write for yourself! Write something that you would read. Not just something you would like to read. No, write something that you would LOVE to read!
